Roy Hodgson - England Manager???? Well at least he is English....
Of course! He's managed 3 National teams (one with highly notable success) and done wonders with West Brom. Liverpool were clearly too far gone. I mean, look how desperate the board were/are - they made Douglish manager! Besides, who would you prefer? Rednapp? Pah!
Feel sorry for him? Everyone wanted Redknapp? At the moment I couldn't care less - too many egos and not enough of them want to play. Hodgson has a tough job...
I don't envy him but I believe he's a better man for the job than Rednapp. Besides, what has Rednapp done? Managed Portsmouth (who went into administration) and Spurs (who have been competing for 4th for the past 3-4 seasons and not progressed). Rednapp sucks and those who wanted him as manager of England are fools.
